The DM2360 FluoroBand™ 100 bp+3K Fluorescent DNA Ladder is a ready-to-use DNA ladder, which is pre-mixed with high sensitivity DNA binding fluorescent dye and loading dye for direct gel loading. The DNA Ladder DM2360 is composed of 12 individual DNA fragments: 3k, 1.5k, 1k, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200 and 100 bp derived from a mixture of PCR products and specifically digested plasmid DNA; these bands can be visualized when illuminated with 470 nm blue light or UV light. This product contains two enhanced bands (1.5 kb and 500 bp) for easier reference. In addition, two tracking dyes, Xylene cyanol FF and Orange G which mimic the migration of 4,000 bp and 50 bp dsDNA during electrophoresis are also added for real time monitoring. Real time observation of the electrophoresis is also possible if compatible light source is fitted to the electrophoresis tank.

Plant materials, starch samples and other materials.
The Digestible and Resistant Starch Assay Kit (K-DSTRS) for the determination of digestible, resistant and total starch in starch samples, plant and other materials.
This method is based on the research of Englyst et al. (Ref) with some modifications. Digestion is performed using saturating levels of pancreatic α-amylase (PAA) and amyloglucosidase (AMG), but in stirred containers rather than shaken tubes, to simplify sample removal.
In line with Englyst definitions:
Rapidly digestible starch (RDS) is that starch which is digested within 20 min.
Slowly digestible starch (SDS) is that starch which is digested between 20 and 120 min.
A new term, ‘Total digestible starch (TDS)’ is introduced (and measured) to cover all starch that is digested within 4 h (the average time of residence of food in the human small intestine).
Resistant starch (RS) then, is that starch which is not digested within 4 h.
The incubation conditions parallel those used in AOAC Method 2017.16, a new, rapid integrated procedure for the measurement of total dietary fiber (Megazyme method K-RINTDF). This method is physiologically based and designed to fit the definition of DF announced by Codex Alimentarius in 2009.

Attogene’ s Cylindrospermopsin Lateral Flow Kit can be used to detect Cylindrospermopsin in source water samples.
Format: Rapid-Water – Run Time: 30 Minutes, enough to run two samples at 10 and 100 fold dilutions and two negative controls.
Cylindrospermopsin (CYN) is a potent cyanotoxin synthesized by select species of cyanobacteria, prominently including Cylindrospermopsin raciborskii. It belongs to the tricyclic alkaloid class, exhibiting a molecular weight of approximately 415 Da. Structurally, cylindrospermopsin features an uracil ring fused with a hydantoin moiety, alongside a guanidino group, attributes that render it highly soluble and polar in aqueous environments.
Cylindrospermopsin is notorious for its profound toxicity towards aquatic organisms and its potential threat to human health through exposure via contaminated water and food sources. Consequently, rigorous monitoring protocols are essential in regions prone to cyanobacterial blooms, where cylindrospermopsin can accumulate in freshwater reservoirs and other aquatic habitats. In recognition of these risks, regulatory bodies such as the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have implemented an action level guideline. As of 2019, EPA 10-day drinking water health advisory for cylindrospermopsin recommended a threshold of 0.7 parts per billion (ppb), or 700 parts per trillion (ppt) for children under the age of six, and 3 parts per billion, 3000 parts per trillion for anyone older, to effectively manage cylindrospermopsin levels. This precautionary measure aims to uphold both environmental sustainability and public health integrity by minimizing exposure risks. The EPA has also drafted a human health recreational water quality criterion to protect human health at 8,000ppt.
Do not Drink – 0.7 μg/L for bottle fed infants and preschool children, pregnant and nursing woman, elderly immunocompromised and liver conditions
Do not Drink – 3.0 μg/L for school age children to adults
Do Not Use – 20 μg/L
EPA Draft Human Health Recreational Ambient Water Quality Criteria to protect human health: 8 μg/L

Pure exosomes are purified and are free from any other RNA-binding proteins
Purification is based on spin column chromatography that uses Norgen’s proprietary resin
The purified RNA is suitable for a variety of downstream applications, including Small RNA Sequencing. Find out more information on Norgen’s NGS services
Norgen’s Exosome Purification and RNA Isolation Kits constitute all-in-one systems for the purification of exosomes and the subsequent isolation of exosomal RNA from different urine sample volumes. The purification is based on spin column chromatography that employs Norgen’s proprietary resin. These kits are designed to isolate all sizes of RNA, including microRNA, irrespective of size or GC content, without bias. These kits provide a clear advantage over other available kits in that they do not require any special instrumentation, protein precipitation reagents, extension tubes, phenol/chloroform or protease treatments. Moreover, the kit allows the user to elute into a flexible elution volume ranging from 50 µL to 100 µL. The purified RNA is free from any protein-bound circulating RNA and of the highest integrity. The purified RNA can be used in a number of downstream applications including real time PCR, reverse transcription PCR, Northern blotting, RNase protection and primer extension, and expression array assays.

Storage Conditions and Product Stability All buffers should be kept tightly sealed and stored at room temperature. This kit is stable for 2 years after the date of shipment. It is recommended to warm Lysis Buffer A for 20 minutes at 60°C if any salt precipitation is observed.
Important Note Urine samples stored at -70°C, -20°C or at 4°C will develop some precipitation due to the aggregation of some of the highly abundant proteins in urine. Eliminating these precipitates using centrifugation or filtration may cause the loss of exosomes. Furthermore, these precipitates may affect the quality of the purified nucleic acid. We recommend the use of Norgen’s Urine Preservative when collecting urine samples, which is designed for the preservation of nucleic acids and proteins in fresh urine samples at ambient temperatures. The components of the Urine Preservative allow samples to be stored for over 2 years at room temperature with no detected degradation of urine DNA, RNA or proteins. Norgen’s Urine Preservative is available as a liquid format in Norgen’s Urine Preservative Single Dose Ampules, as well as in a dried format in Norgen’s Urine Collection and Preservation Tubes.
