Introduction
This kit is suitable for extracting total pathogen nucleic acid from a variety of clinical samples such as blood, serum, plasma, swab soaking solution, fluid accumulation and homogenate solution. This kit is designed to remove host cells background nucleic acid and enrich pathogen nucleic acid (including viral/bacterial/fungal DNA/RNA) from the sample. Purified DNA/RNA is ready for downstream applications such as PCR, virus detection, tNGS and other related experiments.

Purification technology
Magnetic beads technology
Process method
Manual or automatic
Sample type
whole blood, plasma, serum, body fluid, homogenate suspension, culture solution, cell suspension, soaking solution or concentrate pathogen solution
Sample amount
0.5 – 1.5 ml

Nucleic acid extractor, pipetting workstation
Principle
This product is based on the purification method of high binding magnetic particles. The sample is lysed and digested under the action of lysate and Protease. After adding magnetic particles and binding solution, DNA/RNA will be adsorbed on the surface of magnetic particles, and impurities such as proteins will be removed without adsorption. The adsorbed particles were washed with washing solution to remove proteins and impurities, washed with ethanol to remove salts, and finally DNA/RNA was eluted by Buffer NFW.

Storage and Stability
Proteinase K, DNase I powder and MagPure Particles N9 should be stored at 2–8°C upon arrival. However, short-term storage (up to 8 weeks) at room temperature (15–25°C) does not affect their performance. The remaining kit components can be stored at room temperature (15–25°C) and are stable for at least 18 months under these conditions.

Mastitis is the single most costly disease of dairy cattle resulting in the reduction of milk yield and quality. The inflammation of the utter is mainly caused by infection of various bacteria. Streptococcus uberis is a gram-positive bacterium that is known worldwide as an environmental pathogen responsible for a high proportion of cases of mastitis in lactating cows and is also the predominant organism isolated from mammary glands during the non-lactating period. Often it is resistant to treatment and causes persistent high somatic cell counts without clinical mastitis.
Storage Conditions and Product Stability All kit components can be stored for 2 years after the date of production without showing any reduction in performance.
All kit components should be stored at -20°C upon arrival. Repeated thawing and freezing (> 2 x) of the Master Mix and Positive Control should be avoided, as this may affect the performance of the assay. If the reagents are to be used only intermittently, they should be frozen in aliquots.

Clostridium difficile is rod-shaped, gram positive bacterium. It is the main causal agent of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis. The colonization of intestines by C. difficile is usually associated with the elimination of natural intestinal flora as a result of antibiotic application and is frequently reported in health care centers. While C. difficile infection could be severe and life-threatening, particularly among the elderly, many patients are asymptomatic making diagnosis challenging during outbreaks. The tradition method of detecting C. difficile infection is by cytotoxicity test of the toxin produced by the bacterium, but such protocols usually require extensive time before conclusion can be made.
