E-cadherin is an intercellular adhesion molecule present in epithelial cells. Anti-E-cadherin stains glandular epithelium, as well as lung, gastrointestinal and ovarian adenocarcinomas. A panel of antibodies against E-cadherin and p120 is also used to differentiate ductal (membranous staining) and lobular breast cancer (cytoplasmic staining). Anti-E-cadherin also stains some thyroid cancers.

The Integrated Total Dietary Fiber test kit is suitable for the measurement and analysis of Integrated Total Dietary Fiber.
Updated to include resistant, branched maltodextrins as a component in dietary fiber.
K-INTDF – An Integrated Procedure (AOAC Method 2009.01 & 2011.25) for the measurement of Total Dietary Fiber (including resistant starch and non-digestible oligosaccharides). This method combines the key attributes of AOAC Official Methods of Analysis 2002.02, 985.29, 991.43, 2001.03.
Specific dietary fiber fractions are measured as follows:
1. Insoluble dietary fiber (IDF), Higher Molecular Weight Soluble Dietary Fiber (SDFP) and Lower Molecular Weight Soluble Dietary Fiber (SDFS) determination (AOAC Method 2011.25)
2. Total High Molecular Weight Dietary Fiber (HMWDF) and SDFS determination (AOAC Method 2009.01)
The enzymes used in these methods are of very high purity; they are effectively devoid of contaminating enzymes active on β-glucan, pectin and arabinoxylan.
Data calculators are located in the Documents tab.

Advantages
The Integrated Total Dietary Fiber test kit is suitable for the measurement and analysis of Integrated Total Dietary Fiber.
Candida albicans is an opportunistic yeast and is the most common fungal pathogen found in the human body. C. albicans can be detected in the gastrointestinal tract, mouth, and vagina of approximately half of healthy adults. It is typically a commensal organism and makes up part of the natural human microflora; however it can overgrow and become pathogenic as a result of various conditions. For example, individuals who have taken recent courses of antibiotics, have a weakened immune system or have diabetes have an increased risk of developing a Candida albicans infection. When an overgrowth occurs, this can lead to common infections such as urinary tract infections, genital yeast infections, oral thrush, and mucocutaneous candidiasis. In the more severe cases, when Candida albicans enters the bloodstream or organs, it can lead to loss of sight, blood and bone infections, endocarditis, meningitis or inflammation of the intraabdominal lining.

These kits concentrate urine proteins while simultaneously removing salts, urea, and other urine contaminants. There is no molecular weight cut-off and therefore the columns capture total urinary proteins and peptides of all sizes making them ideal for biomarker discovery work, differential expression of proteins in various diseases, or other diagnostic research. The columns are convenient, rapid and easy to use and thus offer significant time savings over classic dialysis protocols. The resulting high-quality protein sample is concentrated and free from the original sample salts, thus preparing the sample conveniently for downstream proteomic applications including SDS-PAGE, 2D Gels, MALDI-TOF, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS, whole protein mass spectrometry, western blotting, protein microarrays, and more.
ProteoSpin™ Urine Protein Concentration Micro Kit
Each spin column is able to concentrate and desalt up to 200 μg of urine proteins. Twelve samples can be processed in 20 minutes.
ProteoSpin™ Urine Protein Concentration Midi Kit
The ProteoSpin™ Urine Protein Concentration Midi Kit provides a fast and simple procedure for concentrating dilute solutions of urine proteins from 1 to 5 mL inputs of urine. Each mini spin column is able to concentrate and desalt up to 3 mg of urine proteins in 30 minutes.
ProteoSpin™ Urine Protein Concentration Maxi Kit
The ProteoSpin™ Urine Protein Concentration Maxi Kit provides a fast and simple procedure for concentrating dilute solutions of urine proteins from 2 to 20 mL inputs of urine. Each maxi spin column is able to concentrate and desalt up to 4 mg of urine proteins in 45 minutes.
