CDX-2 is a caudal-related homeobox transcription factor that is expressed by intestinal epithelial cells. CDX-2 is a useful marker for gastrointestinal carcinoma, and for determining the origin of gastrointestinal metastatic adenocarcinoma and carcinoids. Anti-CDX-2 is used for differentiating lung and metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma, however mucinous ovarian carcinoma also react positively with Anti-CDX-2, thereby limiting the ability to differentiate from metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma.

Norovirus is a single-stranded, non-enveloped RNA virus belonging to the Caliciviridae family. Norovirus is considered the major causative agent of non-bacterial gastroenteritis in the world. The main channel of transmittance is via contaminated food or water, as well as human-to-human contact. Most Noroviruses infecting humans belong to genogroup I and II (particularly genotype 4). Norovirus is very stable in the environment and is resistant to some surface disinfectants such as alcohols and detergents. Moreover, it is very difficult to culture Norovirus in vitro, making its identification by standard microbiological assays challenging.

Storage Conditions and Product Stability
All kit components can be stored for 1 year after the date of production without showing any reduction in performance.
All kit components should be stored at -20°C upon arrival. Repeated thawing and freezing (> 2 x) of the Master Mix and Positive Control should be avoided, as this may affect the performance of the assay. If the reagents are to be used only intermittently, they should be frozen in aliquots.

This product is suitable for rapid extraction of DNA from FFPE sample. This kit uses two combination methods. High-salt Bind is conducive to remove pigments or polysaccharides from complex FFPE samples, so as to improve the purity of nucleic acid and avoid blocking aligent 2100. Alcohol mediated adsorption is conducive to improve the nucleic acid yield of high-yield samples.

This product is based on the purification method of high binding magnetic particles. The sample is lysed and digested under the action of lysate and Protease. DNA is released into the lysate. After adding magnetic particles and binding solution, DNA will be adsorbed on the surface of magnetic particles, and impurities such as proteins will be removed without adsorption. The adsorbed particles were washed with washing solution to remove proteins and impurities, washed with ethanol to remove salts, and finally DNA was eluted by Elution Buffer.

Storage and Stability
Proteinase K, RNase A and MagPure Particles N should be stored at 2-8°C upon arrival. However, short-term storage (up to 12 weeks) at room temperature (15-25°C) does not affect their performance. The remaining kit components can be stored at room temperature (15-25°C) and are stable for at least 18 months under these conditions.

This product is based on the purification method of high binding magnetic particles. Soil sample is homogenized and then treated in a specially formulated buffer containing detergent to lyse bacteria, yeast, and fungal samples. Humic acid, proteins, polysaccharides, and other contaminants are removed using our propietary Absorber Solution. After adding magnetic particles and binding solution, DNA will be adsorbed on the surface of magnetic particles, and impurities such as proteins will be removed without adsorption. The adsorbed particles were washed with washing buffer to remove proteins and impurities, washed with ethanol to remove salts, and finally DNA was eluted by Elution Buffer.
