Postmeiotic Segregation Increased 2 (PMS2) is a DNA repair protein involved in mismatch repair. Mutations and deficiencies in the PMS2 gene have been linked to microsatellite instability, and malignancies such as hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer and endometrial cancer. Expression levels of the PMS2 protein may be useful as a screening tool for Lynch syndrome after a colorectal cancer diagnosis. Anti-PMS2 is recommended to be used as part of a panel along with antibodies against MLH1, MSH2, and MSH6.

The ExcelTaq™ 2X Fast Q-PCR Master Mix (SYBR, ROX) is a ready-to-use reagent with all the essential components for quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) except primers and templates. The master mix contains a highly stable hot-start Taq polymerase in an optimized buffer with dsDNA specific SYBR green fluorescent dye. In addition to high sensitivity and signal intensity, the ExcelTaq™ 2X Fast Q-PCR Master Mix (SYBR, ROX) performs a low background/ high specificity qPCR results, as well as a better compatibility with fast PCR program. With inert smart blue contrast dye, the ExcelTaq™ 2X Fast Q-PCR Master Mix (SYBR, ROX) is ready-to-use and greatly reduces pipetting errors, while largely improving the reproducibility of the process. The ExcelTaq™ 2X Fast Q-PCR Master Mix (SYBR, ROX) also includes ROX reference dye for normalizing the fluorescent reporter signal in real-time quantitative PCR. This master mix allows sensitive, precise amplification, real-time tracking of the amplification process, and simultaneous quantification for targeted DNA molecules.

Cerillo’s Stratus Plate Reader is a third party module that can be placed next to or inside the OT-2 or Opentrons Flex for post experimental analysis. The worktable adapter will allow you to utuilize the OT-2 or Opentrons Flex to prepare the samples directly into the plate reader positions on the worktable.

This small portable device is primarily for microbial growth curve analysis. The Stratus is compatible with Cerillo’s Canopy wireless device that allows real time visualization, control, and analytics. This product is compatible with reading 600nm wavelengths.
