This product is suitable for rapid extraction of DNA from FFPE sample. This kit uses two combination methods. High-salt Bind is conducive to remove pigments or polysaccharides from complex FFPE samples, so as to improve the purity of nucleic acid and avoid blocking aligent 2100. Alcohol mediated adsorption is conducive to improve the nucleic acid yield of high-yield samples.

This product is based on the purification method of high binding magnetic particles. The sample is lysed and digested under the action of lysate and Protease. DNA is released into the lysate. After adding magnetic particles and binding solution, DNA will be adsorbed on the surface of magnetic particles, and impurities such as proteins will be removed without adsorption. The adsorbed particles were washed with washing solution to remove proteins and impurities, washed with ethanol to remove salts, and finally DNA was eluted by Elution Buffer.

Storage and Stability
Proteinase K, RNase A and MagPure Particles N should be stored at 2-8°C upon arrival. However, short-term storage (up to 12 weeks) at room temperature (15-25°C) does not affect their performance. The remaining kit components can be stored at room temperature (15-25°C) and are stable for at least 18 months under these conditions.

Saxitoxins (STXs) are naturally occurring alkaloids produced by some marine dinoflagellates and by strains of various species of freshwater cyanobacteria. Saxitoxin is one of the prevalent paralytic shellfish toxins (PSTs). It belongs to a family of potent neurotoxins with a molecular weight around 300 Da. Saxitoxin and its derivatives are alkaloids composed of a tetrahydropurine ring system with a highly polar guanidinium group. Due to their significant toxicity, saxitoxins are closely monitored in marine environments where they can accumulate in the food chain during harmful algal blooms (HABs). An action level of 800ppb, or 80ug per 100grams of shellfish, has been established.
Screening of saxitoxin in shellfish samples as low as 50ppb in sample

Heat sealing offers a 100% effective method of plate sealing, for complete seal integrity, as well as being quick and cost effective.
Our Individual Access Peel Heat Seal is a laminate seal compatible with polypropylene plates, featuring 96 individual foil seal spots or 12 strips of individual spots on a removable backing.
These seals result in individually sealed tubes/strips, and they can be removed from polypropylene plates by peeling, even with a plate which has been removed directly from -80°C storage.
Individual Access Peel Heat Seal forms a complete seal to a plate enabling very low temperature uses, including very low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR (when used with a pressurized heated lid).
The seal demonstrates moderate solvent resistance and can be utilized for short term compound storage at room temperature.
This seal is available as sheets, for use with manual and semi-automated sealers, such as our Semi-Automated Sheet Heat Sealer (using the 59-2005 Individual Access adapter).
