Transcription Factor E3 (TFE3) is a transcription factor that binds to the MUE3-type E-box sequences involved in TGF-β signalling. Anti-TFE3 staining is the most sensitive and specific indicator of Xp11 translocation renal cell carcinomas. Since alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) is characterized by a specific chromosomal rearrangement resulting in a chimeric transcription factor (ASPSCR1-TFE3), this TFE3 IVD antibody is also a useful diagnostic tool for recognizing ASPS.

The Permagen 96-Well Side Pull Bar Magnet PCR Separation Plate was designed for use in manual or automation applications where pulling beads to one side of the wells is essential. Also available in a kit form which includes our MTP96 clear top plate for 0.2 mL PCR tubes and strips.
Most PCR plates are bent, leading to inconsistent lab results. Unlike most products, we have added two angled, partial frames around the top of our plate, this helps with two things, straightening out the PCR plate, and leading it to the proper location on the magnets when using an automated liquid handling robot.

Meat extract and casein provide a source of nitrogen and amino acids and sodium chloride maintain theosmotic balance. Ox bile and brilliant green act as selective agents against non-target microorganisms. Tetrathionate is generated from the sodium thiosulfate. Iodine and calcium carbonate buffer the sulfuric acid generated from tetrathionate reduction.

Suspend 89.4g in 1 L of purified water. Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder. Distribute into flasks,and then cool to below 45°C. Add a vial of novobiocin sodium salt (SR0640), a vial of iodine solution and a vial of brilliant green (SR0040) into 100 mL of base medium. Mix thoroughly.
