Description
The Residual DNA Sample Preparation Kit uses chemical lysis and magnetic beads to extract DNA from diverse sample types, including samples that contain high protein and low DNA concentration. The kit extracts residual genomic DNA from products that are produced in cell lines such as CHO, E. coli, E1A, HEK293, Vero, NS0 and Baculovirus. For quantification of residual DNA, we recommend using the resDNASEQ Residual DNA Quantitation kit as described in the resDNASEQ Residual DNA Quantitation kit User Guide. To ensure accurate quantitative results, each sample in triplicate and perform a single PCR reaction for each extraction.

AOAC Method 2020.07
The Available Carbohydrates Assay Kit method is suitable for the determination of available carbohydrates (AVCHO) comprising *total digestible starch (TDS) plus maltodextrins, sucrose, D-glucose, D-fructose and lactose. New Improved method receiving ‘First Action’ status: AOAC 2020.07. This method is designed to simulate in vivo conditions in the human small intestine (i.e. a 4 h incubation time with PAA + AMG) in parallel with recent advances in Dietary Fiber (DF) methodology (K-RINTDF: AOAC Method 2017.16) and in accordance with the new (physiological based) definition of DF announced by Codex Alimentarius in 2009. Also, sucrose is hydrolysed with a specific “sucrase” enzyme which (unlike invertase which has been used traditionally for this reaction) has no action on fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS).
* Total digestible starch (TDS) is defined as starch that is digested in a 4 h period and is part of the carbohydrate that is available for digestion and absorption in the human small intestine.

Overview
Optically clear adhesive film with pressure activated adhesive. Seal is peelable; suitable for qPCR and other imaging techniques including crystallization.
Optically clear seal specifically developed for optical applications, particularly qPCR
It is non sticky when removed from the packaging; this aids handling when wearing gloves
The adhesive is contained within small capsules, allowing light to pass through to ensure the optical clarity of the seal
When the seal is in position, pressure can be applied to burst the capsules, releasing a strong adhesive only where the seal touches the raised well rims of the plate – the rest of the seal area above the wells remains optically clear
For all adhesive seals, the best sealing results are achieved using our Hand Roller or KAPS 500 Auto Sealer
