Peelable heat sealing foil which is suitable for low temperature storage, high temperature uses and PCR.
Detail
Overview
Peelable heat sealing foil which is suitable for low temperature storage, high temperature uses and PCR.
Heat sealing offers a 100% effective method of plate sealing, for complete seal integrity, as well as being quick and cost effective
Our PeelASeal Foil is a laminate seal compatible with polypropylene plates
It can be removed from polypropylene plates by peeling, even with a plate which has been removed directly from -80 °C storage
PeelASeal Foil forms a complete seal to a plate enabling very low temperature uses, including very low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR (when used with a pressurized heated lid)
The seal demonstrates moderate solvent resistance and can be utilized for short term compound storage at room temperature
The seal is available as sheets, for use with manual and semi-automated sealers, such as our HeatASeal 500 Sealing Machine
Also available in multiple roll formats compatible with specified automated heat sealers, such as our Wasp or Chameleon XT
The Kit is specially designed for simultaneous purification of genomic DNA and total RNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. The Purified DNA/RNA is used for RT-PCR and PCR detection.

Features
Specifications
Main FunctionsC
Co-isolation DNA and RNA from a single FFPE tissue sample
Applications
RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, PCR and second-generation sequencing, etc.
Purification method
Mini spin column
Purification technology
Silica technology
Process method
Manual (centrifugation or vacuum)
Sample type
FFPE slice, FFPE embedded tissue
Sample amount
No more than six 10µm sections of 150mm2 surface area or three 20µm sections of 150mm2 surface area.
Principle
FFPE samples are incubated in an optimized lysis buffer, which results in the release of RNA and precipitation of DNA. After centrifugation, the RNA-containing supernatant and DNA-containing pellet are then processed separately to purify RNA and DNA. For RNA purification, transfer RNA Lysate to an adsorption column and RNA is adsorbed on the membrane, while protein is not adsorbed and is removed with filtration. After washing proteins and other impurities, RNA was finally eluted with low-salt buffer. For DNA purification, transfer DNA Lysate to an adsorption column and DNA is adsorbed on the membrane, while protein is not adsorbed and is removed with filtration. After washing proteins and other impurities, DNA was finally eluted with low-salt buffer.
Advantages
1.Use non-toxic dewaxing solution without contact with xylene 2.Obtain both DNA and RNA simultaneously from the same sample. Elute separately without affecting each other (Have the same steps and effects as top brand 80234, perfect substitute.)

Storage and Stability
Proteinase K should be stored at 2-8°C upon arrival. However, short-term storage (up to 12 weeks) at room temperature (15-25°C) does not affect their performance. The remaining kit components can be stored at room temperature (15-25°C) and are stable for at least 18 months under these conditions.

CE-IVD marked in accordance with EU Directive 98/79/EC
Ideal for use in in vitro diagnostic workflows
Unlike other methods, Norgen’s Urine DNA Isolation Kit (Slurry Method) does not require any additional urine concentrating devices
Fast processing time
Purify both genomic and apoptotic DNA with one protocol
Isolate DNA from 3 mL to 25 mL of urine
Allows for purification of viral DNA from urine also
Available in Spin Column and 96-well format
This kit provides a fast, reliable and simple procedure for isolating DNA from urine volumes ranging from 3 mL to 25 mL. Both high molecular weight DNA (greater than 1 kb in size; mostly cell associated) and the smaller DNA (150 – 250 bp; derived from the circulation) is effectively isolated and purified with a rapid and convenient spin column protocol. Multiple samples can be processed in 45 minutes. Salts, metabolic wastes, proteins and other contaminants are removed to yield inhibitor-free DNA for use in sensitive applications such as PCR, qPCR, DNA fingerprinting, methylation studies and more. This kit can also be used to isolate DNA from a broad range of viruses.
Norgen’s Urine DNA Isolation Kit Dx (Slurry Format) does not provide a diagnostic result. It is the sole responsibility of the user to use and validate the kit in conjunction with a downstream in vitro diagnostic assay.

Storage Conditions and Product Stability All solutions should be kept tightly sealed and stored at room temperature. All solutions and plastics can be used until the expiration date specified on their labels. It is recommended to warm Solution A and Solution B for 20 minutes at 60°C if any salt precipitation is observed
