Sulfo DBCO-Maleimide a water-soluble sulfhydryl reactive containing a maleimide group and a DBCO moiety. Maleimide group specifically and efficiently reacts with thiols to form stable thioether bonds. The low mass weight will add minimal spacer to modified molecules and will enable simple and efficient incorporation of DBCO moiety onto cysteine-containing peptides or other thiol-containing biomolecules. DBCO is commonly used for copper-free Click Chemistry reactions. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.

Norgen’s Saliva/Swab RNA Purification Kits provide a rapid method for the purification of total RNA from non-preserved saliva and nasal/throat swabs, and from preserved saliva collected on Norgen’s Saliva RNA Collection and Preservation Devices (Cat. RU53800) or preserved swabs collected in Norgen’s Total Nucleic Acid Preservative Tubes (Cat. 69200). Purification is based on using Norgen’s proprietary resin separation matrix. RNA is preferentially purified from other cellular components such as proteins, without the use of phenol or chloroform. The kit allows the purification of total RNA, including viral and bacterial RNA, irrespective of size or GC content. The purified RNA is eluted in an Elution Solution that is compatible with all downstream applications including PCR, qPCR, methylation-sensitive PCR and Southern Blot analysis, microarrays, and NGS.
Saliva/Swab RNA Purification Kit (Spin Column)
This kit offers a range of elution volumes, with a minimum elution volume of 75 μL and a maximum elution volume of 100 μL. Complete 10 purifications in as little as 15 minutes.
High throughput 96-well plate format for rapid purifications with very consistent well-to-well RNA isolation. Purified RNA is suitable for a variety of downstream applications , including Small RNA Sequencing. Find out more information about Norgen’s NGS Services.
Storage Conditions and Product Stability All solutions should be kept tightly sealed and stored at room temperature. This kit is stable for 2 years after the date of shipment.
The 16S V3-V4 Library Preparation Kit for Illumina consists of the reagents and components required for library preparation of the 16S V3-V4 amplicon libraries to be used for next-generation sequencing on Illumina platforms. All molecular reagents including primers, enzyme mixes, indexes, and buffers are provided. Instructions for PCR clean up with the AMPure XP Magnetic Beads (supplied by customer) are also included for rapid purification of nucleic acid products generated at two steps of the workflow. The library prep workflow could be used for purified DNA inputs from different sources including stool, soil, water, saliva, plant, urine, skin swab, vaginal swab, cheek swab, nasal swab, plasma/serum, tongue swab, gum swab, and others.
The 16S V3-V4 Library Preparation Kit for Illumina has a streamlined procedure that reduces the handling time such that the library prep procedure can be completed in approximately 4 hours (see diagram below). Input DNA is first subjected to targeted PCR to amplify the V3-V4 region of the DNA encoding 16S rRNA. The post-PCR reaction is then cleaned up using AMPure XP beads. Dual index primers are then added using a limited-cycle PCR. The indexed amplicons flanked by 5′ and 3′ barcoded adaptors are then cleaned using AMPure XP beads. The libraries are then ready for quantification, pooling and sequencing.
