Microcystin are a class of hepatotoxins produced by blue-green algae such as Microcystis aeruginosa. Microcystin-LR is the most common of the over 50 different congeners. Cyanobacteria can produce microcystin in large quantities during an algae bloom which then pose a major threat.
This kit can be used for quantitative test of Microcystin in liquid samples such as water, wastewater, algal cultures, and solid samples such as fish.

Introduction
Magen’s HiPure columns are prepared by high quality glass fiber filter membrane as raw materials through membrane cutting, membrane release, ring release, ring pressing, gland, weighing and other processes. HiPure nucleic acid adsorption columns have the characteristics of long-term stability and high binding capacity. Experiments show that the highest binding capacity and binding efficiency of HiPure nucleic acid adsorption columns are basically unchanged when stored at room temperature for 4 years.
The series of nucleic acid columns produced by Magen Biotech are based on carefully selected imported glass fiber membranes (GF/B, GF/D, GF/F). Columns production processes such as polypropylene injection molding materials, injection molding process, and downstream membrane packing and compression rings are strictly controlled. This is to ensure that the column has extremely high adsorption capacity and long-term stability. Compared with conventional products on the market, Magen’s columns are with varieties, and binding rate will not change when stored at room temperature for 4 years.

Adsorption Mechanism
Based on the negatively charged DNA skeleton, it has a high affinity for positively charged glass fibers. In high salt and ethanol solutions, DNA/RNA binds to glass fiber and interacts with hydrophilic matrix on silica through hydrogen bond. DNA/RNA is tightly bound. All pollutants can be removed by washing solution. At high salt concentration, nucleic acids selectively bind to silicagel membrane, while other pollutants, mainly proteins, are removed by membrane washing.

N-(Propargyl-PEG4)-N-bis(PEG4-acid) is a branched crosslinking reagent with a propargyl group and two terminal carboxylic acids. The propargyl group can react with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The terminal carboxylic acids can react with primary amino groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Cluster of differentiation 5 (CD5) is expressed in high levels on the surface of T cells, while controversy surrounds the expression levels and role of CD5 in B cells. As a part of a diagnostic panel, its utility lies predominantly as a marker for T cells, with over 70% of T cell neoplasms expressing CD5. In particular, it is correlated with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphomas, mantle cell lymphoma, as well as a subset of diffuse large B cell lymphomas. CD5 demonstrates positive expression in thymic carcinomas, and is not as sensitive as CD3. CD5 also has value as a prognostic indicator, being associated with poor prognosis in acute T cell lymphoblastic leukemia.
