【Principle overview】

This kit is based on a rapid nucleic acid amplification technology at room temperature and constant temperature: at room temperature and constant temperature (generally 39ºC~42ºC), with the help of auxiliary proteins and single-strand binding proteins,the recombinase and primers form a complex; Source search and combine the target homology domain, at this time, a D-loop region is formed at the homology position and strand exchange begins;along with the dissociation of the recombinase from the complex,the polymerase also binds to the 3′ end of the primer and begins chain extension.It is suitable for laboratory-level DNA amplification and DNA amplification for other detection purposes.

qPCR Probe 2x LyoCake Master Mix simplifies your PCR setup and can be stored at room temperature. A cool chain is not needed anymore. The Master Mix is freeze-dried and dissolves within a few seconds after addition of the included rehydration buffer.

After rehydration of the LyoCake, only primers, probes and template need to be added as the 2x Master Mix contains all components for a successful and reliable qPCR. This ensures reproducible results, significantly reduces set-up times and the risk of pipetting errors. The robustness of qPCR performance allows the application of this mix in a wide range of PCR applications.

MutL Homolog 1 (MLH1) is a protein involved in the mismatch-repair pathway. This protein is commonly associated with hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer, as the MLH1 gene is frequently mutated in patients with this cancer. Studies have shown MLH1 to be deficient in a high percentage of patients with microsatellite instability, as well as endometrial and ovarian cancers. Use of Anti-MLH1 is optimized when paired in an IHC panel with MSH6, MSH2, and PMS2. Anti-MLH1 is useful in the detection of MLH1 in a number of normal and neoplastic tissues, and for identifying a loss of MLH1 in tumors that are microsatellite-unstable.
