DBCO-NHS Ester is a very popular amine-reactive click chemistry reagent. It can be used to modify an amine-containing molecule in organic solvents (limited solubility in aqueous media). It reacts with primary amines such as the side chain of lysine residues or aminosilane-coated surfaces at neutral or slightly basic pH to form covalent bonds. The low mass weight will add minimal spacer to modified molecules. DBCO is commonly used for copper-free Click Chemistry reactions. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.

Overview
Quantified standard to be used as a positive control or PCR quantification standard
Vigorously quantified using multiple methods
Neisseria gonorrhoeae is a Gram-negative coccus of the Neisseria genus. N. gonorrhoeae is usually seen in pairs infecting human cells. It has a circular DNA genome of approximately 1Mbp encoding over 2000 genes. N. gonorrhoeae is the etiological agent of the sexually transmitted infection (STI) gonorrhoea, which globally causes an estimated 60 million new cases of gonococcal disease annually. It is second only to Chlamydia trachomatis as the most reported notifiable sexually transmitted disease. Infections with N. gonorrhoeae are primarily restricted to the mucus membranes of the endocervix, urethra, rectum, and pharynx. In females, gonorrhoea is a major cause of pelvic inflammatory disease and may lead to tubal infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and chronic pelvic pain, whereas in males it primarily causes urethritis. Importantly, these infections may often be asymptomatic, thereby contributing to further transmission and maintenance of the disease within populations.
Norgen’s Neisseria gonorrhoeae Quantified Bacterial DNA Standard is prepared from pelleted bacteria grown on culture plates using Norgen’s sample preparation technology. The purified DNA is quantified vigorously using multiple methods including spectrophotometry, gel densitometry and real-time PCR. It is intended to be used as a positive control or PCR quantification standard for Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Volume Provided – 250 µL DNA Quantity – 2 x 104 copies per µL
Storage Conditions Upon receipt, store Norgen’s Neisseria gonorrhoeae Quantified Bacterial DNA Standard at -20oC or lower. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. If needed, prepare smaller working aliquots and store at -20oC or lower.

Purification is based on spin column chromatography that uses Norgen’s resin separation matrix
Norgen’s Exosomal RNA Isolation Kit (for the extraction of RNA from EV’s that have been isolated using IZON’s qEV columns) constitutes an all-in-one system for the isolation of exosomal RNA from exosomes previously isolated using IZON’s qEV columns or concentrated using IZON’s EV Concentration kit. This kit allows for the isolation of RNA from intact extracellular vesicles (EVs) where the purification is based on spin column chromatography that employs Norgen’s proprietary resin.
The kit is designed to isolate all sizes of extracellular vesicle RNA, including microRNA. The kit provides a clear advantage over other available kits in that it does not require any special instrumentation, protein precipitation reagents, extension tubes, phenol/chloroform or protease treatments. Moreover, the kit allows the user to elute into a flexible elution volume ranging from 50 μL to 100 μL. The purified RNA is of the highest integrity, and can be used in a number of downstream applications including real time PR, reverse transcription PCR, Nothern blotting, RNase protection and primer extension, and expression array assays.

Storage Conditions and Product Stability All buffers should be kept tightly sealed and stored at room temperature (15–25°C). This kit is stable for 2 years after the date of shipment. It is recommended to warm Lysis Buffer A for 20 minutes at 60°C if any salt precipitation is observed.
Isocitrate Dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a soluble, cytosolic enzyme involved in the TCA metabolic cycle. The most notable mutation in this enzyme, R132H, is clinically indicated in the majority of astrocytomas and oligodendroglial tumours, with the mutation being associated with more favourable prognosis and increased survival in those patients. IDH1 R132H is also useful in the differential diagnosis between anaplastic glioma and glioblastoma.
