Detail
Overview
Peelable heat sealing film which is optically clear. Seal is suitable for qPCR and optical applications.
Heat sealing offers a 100% effective method for plate sealing for a complete seal integrity, as well as being quick and cost effective
Our ClearASeal Peel is an optically clear laminate film forming a peelable seal to polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate and cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) plates
The optical clarity of this seal enables its use for sealing plates required for imaging use, including fluorescent detection methods such as qPCR and colorimetric assays
The ClearASeal Peel forms a complete seal to a plate enabling both low temperature uses, including low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR (when used with a pressurized heated lid)
This seal demonstrates moderate solvent resistance and can be utilized for short term compound storage at room temperature
This seal is available as sheets, for use with manual and semi-automated sealers, such as our HeatASeal 500 Sealing Machine
Also available in multiple roll formats compatible with specified automated heat sealers, such as our Wasp or Chameleon XT
Our sheet seals are inter-leaved with paper sheets to help denote which side is the sealing side and aid removal of one sheet at a time from the pack

Norgen’s Saliva DNA Isolation Kit (Magnetic Bead System) provides a fast and reproducible method for isolating genomic DNA from saliva samples collected and preserved using Norgen’s Saliva DNA Collection and Preservation Devices, as well as fresh saliva. Saliva DNA purified using Norgen’s kit is of the highest quality, and is compatible with a number of downstream research applications including PCR, Southern Blot analysis, sequencing and microarray analysis.
Norgen’s Saliva DNA Isolation Kit (Magnetic Bead System) is also available in a 96-well format for high throughput applications. Purification with the 96-well plates can be integrated with a robotic automation system.
* Average DNA yield will vary depending on the donor
Storage Conditions and Product Stability The kit contains ready-to-use Proteinase K which is dissolved in a specially prepared storage buffer. The Proteinase K should be stored at room temperature or 4°C. All other solutions should be kept tightly sealed and stored at room temperature (15 – 25°C). These reagents should remain stable for at least 2 years in their unopened containers.
Propargyl-PEG4-acid is a PEG reagent with an alkyne and a terminal carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid reacts with primary amine groups with the help of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU). The 4-unit PEG spacer increases hydrophilicity. The alkyne can participate in copper-catalyzed Click Chemistry. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.

Attogene’s Microcystin Test Kit (Rapid – Drinking Water) can be used to detect microcystins in water to as low as 0.1ppb; highly sensitive, rapid, robust screening kit for microcystins and nodularins.
The most frequently reported cyanobacterial toxins are the hepatotoxic microcystins (MCs). MCs are peptides with a molecular weight ranging from 900 to 1,100 Da. They consist of seven amino acids of which the two terminal amino acids of the linear peptide are condensed to form a cyclic compound.
A tiered notification system which takes different actions based on thresholds for microcytin-LR concentrations in drinking waters has been developed. This is guidance that allows states to take various actions.
For the rapid screening of microcystins in drinking water samples at or above 0.1 ppb. Samples requiring regulatory action should be confirmed by ELISA, HPLC, or other conventional methods.
To protect consumers from adverse health effects caused by these toxins, the World Health Organization (WHO) has proposed a provisional upper limit for Microcystin-LR of 1.0 ppb (μg/L) in drinking water.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has also established guidelines for Microcystins in drinking water:
-For children below school age, 0.3 μg/L (ppb)
-For all other age groups, 1.6 μg/L (ppb)
