DBCO-PEG4-amine is a PEG linker which contains DBCO and amine moieties. The DBCO group is commonly used in copper-free Click Chemistry reactions. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde), etc. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the water solubility of the compound. Reagent grade, for research purpose.

Norgen’s Plasma/Serum Exosome and RNA Isolation Kits constitute all-in-one systems for the purification of exosomes and the sequential isolation of exosomal RNA from different plasma/serum sample volumes. The purification is based on spin column chromatography that employs Norgen’s proprietary resin. These kits are designed to isolate all sizes of RNA, including microRNA, irrespective of size or GC content, without bias. These kits provide a clear advantage over other available kits in that they do not require any special instrumentation, protein precipitation reagents, extension tubes, phenol/chloroform or protease treatments. The RNA isolated from the purified exosomes is free from any protein-bound circulating RNA and is of the highest integrity. The purified RNA can be used in a number of downstream applications including real time PCR, reverse transcription PCR, Northern blotting, RNase protection and primer extension, and expression array assays.

Storage Conditions and Product Stability All solutions should be kept tightly sealed and stored at room temperature. This kit is stable for 2 years after the date of shipment. It is recommended to warm Lysis Buffer A for 20 minutes at 60°C if any salt precipitation is observed.
Important Note This kit is suitable for the purification of exosomes from fresh or frozen serum or plasma prepared from blood collected on either EDTA or Citrate. Plasma samples prepared from blood collected on heparin should not be used as heparin can significantly interfere with many downstream applications such as RT-PCR.

Novel method
Megazyme’s catalase assay kit provides a simple colourimetric method for the measurement of catalase activity. The method is delivered in a fast and reliable format and may be used to detect catalase activity in various samples, including food, biological and bacterial samples. The calculation method included allows for significant variation in the concentration of the H2O2 substrate solution that is employed in the assay which translates into a reduction in the ‘hands on’ time required by the analyst in comparison to other commercial kits.
See our complete list of assay kits for the measurement enzyme activity.
Advantages
Very cost effective
Simple, convenient, rapid assay
Standard included
Mega-Calc™ software tool is available from our website for hassle-free raw data processing

Test Principle
The technological basis for the GenLine tests is the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) combined with lateral flow tests.
Labelled specific primers are used to amplify specific DNA fragments. In addition to the target gene, a control gene, which is also present in the PCR mixes, is amplified in order to make sure that the PCR process works properly.
The resulting PCR products carry the labels of the incorporated primers.
In a second part of the test, the created PCR products are detected by a lateral flow Test Strip. A “molecular sandwich” is formed and becomes visible as a line on the test Strip.
